Kelly Page
Kelly Page is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on representing individuals in a variety of criminal matters in both state and federal court. Her practice emphasizes complex cases including antitrust, white-collar defense and serious felony matters. Most recently, Kelly was a crucial member of the Recht Kornfeld team that earned a full acquittal for their client in a federal antitrust case after two previous mistrials and a total of almost eight months in trial (United States v. Penn, et al. (D. Colo.)).
Kelly has represented thousands of clients in serious felony cases, earning acquittals or dismissals in cases of first-degree murder, sexual assault, Sherman Act violations, child abuse, assault, domestic violence, drug distribution, DUI and many others. She also is experienced in litigating dependency and neglect matters and defending individuals facing regulatory action by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
Prior to joining Recht Kornfeld, Kelly served as a trial attorney in the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. During her four years as a public defender, she learned the importance of a tenacious and impassioned defense when fighting for her clients’ rights and freedoms. As a public defender, Kelly mentored and trained young attorneys, supervised law student interns and aided rural regional offices on complex cases. Her passion for mentoring young attorneys led her to serve on the board for the Denver Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division once she transitioned into private practice.
For the last four years, Kelly has been recognized by Best Lawyers® as “Ones to Watch” in the areas of general criminal defense and DUI/DWI defense. “Ones to Watch” recognizes lawyers who are earlier in their careers for their outstanding excellence in practice. Kelly was selected to the 2022 Colorado Rising Stars list which recognizes the attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Kelly received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law.
